Those given in bold type are ‘open’ commercial courses for which dates are fixed and places are still available at the time of last update of this Web page. They are designed for all-comers, primarily biologists or environmental scientists, and typically attended by a mix of university and other public sector research staff, post-graduate students, and consultants and applied scientists from the public and private environmental sectors. For further details please contact the local organiser (name and e-mail address given, or, if unsuccessful, contact Cathy Clarke or Marg Moroney at admin@primer-e.com).

Auckland, New Zealand. Almost certain to go ahead (date not determined, though not before late April) is a 2-week fully-open workshop, consisting of a 5-day PRIMER course led by Prof Bob Clarke (PRIMER-E and PML) and a 5-day PERMANOVA+ course led by Prof Marti Anderson (Univ Auckland), who is also the local workshop organiser. Participants would be required to register for both weeks. Contact Marti Anderson at mj.anderson@auckland.ac.nz to express interest only - at this stage no further information is available.
Planning is also under way for 5-day PRIMER workshops at Albury/Wodonga (NSW/Victoria, La Trobe Univ) - this will definitely happen at some point in 2009 - and possibly Adelaide (S Australia, Flinders Univ), and Maryland, USA. Contact details will be posted here as plans stabilise.
